I am experiencing similar behavior with the latest beta (0.3.3). I sometimes find it necessary to force close the app for it to properly display the status of lights that are already on and whose status are accurately reflected in the old app. But, over the years that is hit and miss with the old app too.

I have the same issue. Mostly when App is open in the background and lights were switched on or off by hard switch.

Hi Kevin and thanks for reporting the issue. It sounds abnormal indeed. Likely some problem in the way the app is currently pulling "feedback" from the devices.
We will investigate this. Hopefully the next releases will also correct the problem since we have already done some optimization on that front.
May we ask whether the issue occurs when you are connected to the same Wi-Fi as the lights, when you are on data network, or both? thanks!

Antonin Carre: I’m always on the same WiFi, possibly a different GHz frequency though, I’d have to double check that. I haven’t tried on data, I’ll check that as well.
