Set up the rooms, each room with number of bulbs and group each set of bulbs in a separate group based on the room. Owners should be able to restrict control to other users in the same house sleeping is different rooms.

For example, I'm the father in the house and I would like to have exclusive control over the master bedroom lights and inclusive control over the rest of the lights in the house. I also would like to give my son full control over the lights in his room, and his room alone.

This basic feature which is needed in every house, is not implemented and it's a shame. It is also not a feature that requires much effort to develop (IMHO as a software developer, but that's just my opinion). Personally I'm baffled as to why you would want to invest in lights that sync with music instead of providing such a basic feature
