Should be able to control both brightness and color for whole room on home screen

On the existing app, as soon as I open it I can choose a color for the whole room and adjust the brightness as I see fit right there on the same panel. Now you have to turn on the room to a color that you don't even know because it isn't labeled, then click into the room and choose the right color, then go back to the Home screen to adjust the brightness for the whole room because you can't do that inside the room view for some reason. It feels much more clunky and functionalities that are always used together are spilt onto multiple screens you have to go back and forth between, with the addition that you don't even know what color your room is going to be when you turn it on because it isn't labeled unlike the existing app

It would be great if you could use the room slider to adjust the brightness of all lights in the room and could somehow change their colour (from daylight to candlelight as an example) for all lights in the room at once.

Hi Keeton and thanks for the feedback! We get your point, in certain cases the current interface can take a bit more taps to get things done (or at least feel like it). Can you please help us with a bit more information?
- How many rooms do you have in the home?
- When you say "choose a color", are you primarily referring to the custom colors, or to the range of white light (warm to cool white)?
Regarding some of the points you mentioned, we also have some improvements on the way (since we are rolling out changes gradually):
- white modes should soon get their CCT value displayed (e.g. 3,500K)
- custom colors should show some color coding, and potentially some simple naming
- You should get a brightness slider inside the "panel" for each room, letting you adjust both the color and the brightness from there. There may some glitches in there which we are investigating, but you should already be able to do the following: Tap on the room to open it > tap on panel (in the top ribbon) > pick the color and brightness of your choice in the selector.
